These terms govern your use of LocalShopCart's online ordering platform to place pickup order requests with participating local shops, including Special T Meats. LocalShopCart is operated by Minervit LLC; “we” and “us” in these terms mean Minervit LLC, trading as LocalShopCart. By using this site to place an order request, you agree to these terms.
This site lets you browse a shop's counter and submit a pickup order REQUEST. Submitting a request does not guarantee it will be fulfilled: the shop's Head Butcher reviews every request and confirms or declines it based on availability. You will be notified once your request is confirmed, declined, or otherwise updated.
Payment is taken in person, at the shop, when you collect your order. This pilot does not support online payment, deposits, or refunds — there is no online payment to refund, and no deposit is collected when you submit a request.
If you check the SMS opt-in box at checkout, LocalShopCart (Minervit LLC) sends you text messages about your order's status on the shop's behalf — for example when it is accepted, ready, or declined. Each message is prefixed with the shop's name, so a text about a Special T Meats order begins “Special T Meats via LocalShopCart”. These are transactional messages only; we never send marketing texts.
Mobile information will not be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties. How we handle your number and your consent is set out in our Privacy Policy.
Use this site only to place genuine pickup order requests for yourself. Do not submit false contact details, attempt to interfere with the site or its availability, or use the site to harass shop staff.
You do not need to create an account to place a pickup order request — you may order as a guest, providing only the contact details needed to fulfil and communicate about your order.
This site is provided "as is," without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee that any pickup order request will be accepted, or that the site will be uninterrupted or error-free. To the fullest extent permitted by law, LocalShopCart and the shops using this platform are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the site.
We may update these terms from time to time. Changes take effect when posted on this page with a new effective date. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the updated terms.
